My journal gets a lot of insight that I don’t typically put into blog form… not because I don’t care, but because some of it would be a lot to share & the rest of it often feels like it’s not worthy of being shared in the first place. This year I made it a mission to really write down my thoughts at the end of 2025 vs. my thoughts going into 2026. I chose what I was leaving in the past and what I was bringing into my future. I wrote about all of the things I’m working to incorporate into my life this new year and a lot of it turned into some knowledge that I personally think is beneficial for anyone who wants to read it, but that’s just my opinion.

This is an untraditional blog in the way that it won’t be in paragraph form. I want to just share some bullet points that are filtered a tad… and that are more universally focused. I’ve broken these bullet points into sections based on what I wrote them for :) I hope a few of them inspire someone reading this as much as they are currently inspiring me! And trust me… there’s a lot more where all of this came from!

Things 2025 Taught Me:

  • Rest is crucial for the birth of creativity.

  • Your real friends will always understand.

  • The gym isn’t enough - your diet matters even more.

  • Your timeline is INTENTIONALLY unique and is ALWAYS correct.

  • Love comes in lots of different forms.

  • Family is the greatest gift you will ever experience & time is irreplaceable.

  • You can’t move forward if you’re looking at what’s next to you.

  • Hugging your pet can make almost anything instantly better…

  • I’m no longer categorizing myself into boxes of things I cannot do — I’m trying everything & accepting outcomes as they correctly develop.

  • Strength grows from going through the really f*cking hard stuff.

  • Nobody is perfect & that is equally beautiful as it is a hard pill to swallow.

  • My sister is the closest person to perfection I’ve met.

  • Having a therapist doesn’t necessarily solve all of your problems, but talking it out definitely makes you feel better!

  • Spirit Airlines sucks. Spend the extra money…

  • Having social media followers doesn’t make you cool. In fact, the coolest people I know have no followers.

  • Pinching pennies & Venmo requests under $5 has got to go.

  • Writing is a gateway to creativity that works incredibly quickly… try it next time you’re stuck.

  • Being sporadic can be fun, but being intentional is more fulfilling.

  • Even the greatest actors in the world do not work 24/7!

  • Drowning yourself in training and school isn’t what makes you the best candidate — life experiences are.

  • On the other hand, education and training are also important when you can afford it!

  • Traveling isn’t always “vacation” & can often leave me more exhausted than when I left…

  • Girlhood is magical…

  • I believe no one knows what they’re doing & we’re all figuring everything out together — some people are just luckier than others.

  • Motivation & determination plays a lot into this too ^.

  • It’s my parents first time living too.

  • NOTHING is that serious :)

  • Billy Joel is STILL the greatest!

  • One year can go by so fast, but you still come out a completely different person.

  • AI is making us stupid.

  • Something you’ve “healed” from in the past can still come up & surprise you a decade later.

  • If you feel sad & can’t get out of it, take a shower. If you feel unmotivated or stuck at a wall, go to the gym.

  • Touching your savings account isn’t detrimental to your finances — making it a habit is.

  • Focusing on the negative only takes away from the positive. Worrying takes you away from opportunity. Live your life to the fullest. Who cares?

  • Habits are really hard to break, but always worth it when achieved.

  • Staying at home is OKAY, but bailing all of the time is not.

  • Literally just be considerate!!!

Things I’m Leaving in 2025:

  • Comparing my successes to others successes.

  • Worrying about what other people think of me & concerning myself with leveling up instead!

  • Eating sh*tty foods & not showing up for my health needs.

  • Telling myself I’m going to do something & not pulling through… how can someone else trust me when I can’t trust myself?

  • People who aren’t there for my highs & only support me at my lows.

  • Stressing about things I simply cannot control.

  • DOOM SCROLLING

  • Over-obsessing about my weight, when it’s literally just a number.

  • Sitting around & waiting for things to happen for me with no action behind it.

  • Not allowing much needed rest.

  • Wasting money on things that will only bring me temporary joy :)

Things I’m Taking into 2026:

  • Becoming (a little) less sporadic.

  • Creating is one of the greatest things you can do for yourself & those around you.

  • ALWAYS trust your intuition…

  • Support isn’t necessarily loud. It’s consistent.

  • The yearn to keep learning about the benefits of rest & ways I can engrain it into my life.

  • MY FIANCE!

  • My unstoppable motivation to achieving the things I want for myself.

  • The care I have for strangers :)

The 2026 Rebrand:

  • Begin writing on a more regular basis (blogs, journaling, etc).

  • Working out at least 5x a week & cutting down on sugar/fats.

  • Eating something green every day.

  • Taking vitamins!

  • Making the bed first thing in the morning…

  • Get myself ready / dressed up more often — it genuinely makes you feel better & work harder.

  • Take rest for proper creativity flow!

  • Committing to continuing therapy.

  • TRAVEL MORE!

  • Continue pouring into my girls & friends.

  • Finding more time dedicated to just family…

  • Daily skincare routine & finding good hair care products.

  • Not forcing myself to attend auditions when I’m not feeling up to it, but also attending as much as I can for networking opportunities.

  • Taking more classes, when affordable.

  • Being generally smarter about my money & understanding what things are worth spending money on.

  • Enjoy wedding planning = not giving it the power to over-stress me, but using it as a refreshing activity!

  • Cutting down screen time (a lot).

  • Commit to posting more often on all platforms, but treating it more like a hobby than a requirement. Hopefully this gives me the power to create more things that I enjoy creating & then it will naturally become more consistent.

  • Attend more casting director workshops. That changed the game for me in 2025.

  • Celebrate others as you would celebrate yourself!

  • Get rid of the things you don’t use throughout the year instead of having to do it all at once.

  • Care less about followers/likes & more about the quality of content you’re creating.

  • Take your secondary careers & wants to the next level, because you CAN.

  • Manifesting your “big dreams” isn’t embarrassing… because it is more than possible for you.

  • Manifest. Speak it into the world. Make it happen!

I’ll leave it at that for now… Cheers to an incredibly successful 2026!!

Xoxo, Kristen
